Hawzah News Agency- Larijani made the remarks in a phone conversation with Swiss National Security Adviser Gabriel Lüchinger on Thursday.
Stressing the constructive role of Switzerland in solving tensions and its positive record in addressing crises peacefully, Larijani said Iran understands the positive approach of the Swiss government, but Tehran will not remain passive against threats posed by Washington.
Lüchinger said in the conversation that in the current situation, his country is completely ready to play a constructive role to reduce tensions.
